PHS Athletic Hall of Fame

The Portsmouth Athletic Hall of Fame is a group of PHS's most distinguished student athletes, coaches, and supporters. Distinction might include All State, All New England, All American, school record holders, long and successful coaching careers, collegiate success,  professional success, a pioneer in a sport or professional accomplishments. Coaches or contributors need not be Portsmouth High School graduates in order to be inducted into the Hall.

The selection process is based on community nominations, then voted on by the HOF coordinators.  Individuals that were nominated but not selected one year, will carry over to the following year.  PHS opened in 1968 so we have a total of 55 years of very talented men and women to review.  We are currently trying to induct as many athletes that we can from the years prior to 2000.
